Kitchen fire today resulted in minor damage.
Holt Fire was dispatched to smoke in a house. A grease fire was contained to the cabinets and hood with smoke damage in kitchen.
Fortunately the homeowner shut the door when he discovers the fire.
No injuries.
New bridge underway on 188th! Old bridge is GONE!! Thank you Clay County!!
Terrible farming accident involving a child. Child was brought to the Fire Station and was deceased. This all of the presence at the station.

Holt, Kearney Firefighters and Clay Co deputies made a GREAT TEAM ! Minor injuries
What are we doing today? Car wreck at midnight, then an injured child, then an ATV crash, now a somebody short of breath.
Do you know residents that are truly “Home-bound”?
If so, please ask them if they would like a C-19 vaccine.
We have cooperative agreements with Clay and Clinton CO Health departments to deliver vaccines to home-bound residents that are unable to get to a clinic.
Please let us know if these residents are in need of those services.
