We have three main categories of staff, Full-Time, Part-Time and Volunteer,
Full-Time Personnel
Full-Time personnel are assigned a regular shift schedule. They work one 24 hour shift on duty and then have 48 hours off duty. We call this a 24/48 shift schedule. Full time personnel are responsible for the majority of station coverage. When we are fully staffed there are 7 Full-Time personnel.
All Full-Time staff are required to be a missouri Liscenced EMT or Paramedic and a Certified Fire Fighter. They are responisable for responding to all calls for service and must be trainied to respond to all incident types.
Part-Time Personnel
Part-Time personnel are not assigned to a shift but instead are scheduled when a Full-Time member is off-duty durring a normal shift day. Part-Time personnel allow the Full-Time members to have time off for varies reasons.
